Von nun an geht das Whisky ABC bis "W"
Fast zwei Wochen hat das Team von Wolfburn Distillery unter Leitung von Distillery Manager Shane Fraser mit dem Abfüllen von 16.000 Flaschen des ersten Wolfburn Single Malts verbracht – alles in Handarbeit vor Ort bei der Destillerie. Nachdem im Januar 2013 das erste Mal Wolfburn Spirit aus den Stills in Thurso floss, ist dies ein weiteres großes Highlight in der Geschichte der jungen Brennerei – die nördlichste Distillery auf dem schottischen Festland.

Die offiziellen Tastingnotes
Nose: Initially sweet with notes of fruit and fresh sea air. In the background you will find citrus freshness and hints of cereal and just a trace of peat smoke
Palate: Sweet, nutty notes come to the fore, with hints of grape and honey in the background. Floral flavours abound, enhanced with just a hint of coffee and dark chocolate
Finish: It is a lovely rounded whisky, which coats the palate to leave just a trace of peat
